Dear Students,

Following the Directorate of Council of Higher Education’s announcement on 5 May 2020, the University Senate held a Meeting on 07.05.2020 at which it considered that majority of the students have already returned to their homes during the Covid-19 Pandemic, they live in a variety of different cities and countries, a large part of the education/instruction has already been being given on digital platforms, and resuming face-to-face (formal) education would be a difficult thing to do at present, as well as considering the students’ travel options and psychological statuses. Thus, the Senate has resolved that the Final Exams, Three-Course Exams, Article 44/c Exams, and the Makeup Exams for the Spring Term of the Academic Year 2019 - 2020 only shall be conducted digitally through the means of distance learning for all associate, undergraduate, and postgraduate degree programmes, except for the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, and that the associate and undergraduate degree academic calendars shall be updated accordingly.
