Educational Objectives

1. Provide students with knowledge on various topics related to the field, and foster their skills of literary appreciation and analysis.

2. Enable students to identify and utilize literary terminology in the analysis of different genres such as novel, poem and drama and produce analytical and critical readings of literary works.

3. Provide students with a variety of critical approaches needed for comprehension and analysis of literary texts.

4. Provide students with the main language competencies, analytical skills, lifelong learning abilities and ethical values.

5. Improve students’ skills of effectively working individually and in groups

6. Provide students with basic skills in a second foreign (European) language.

7. Develop students’ skills of using a variety of computer software and other IT related sources.
