AIMThe Balkans, due to its strategic position, have hosted many great civilizations throughout history. All civilizations dominating the Balkans have left permanent abstract and concrete traces in the region. Cultural and artistic works, especially architectural works, have held a place in the common heritage of humanity. Also, these works are indicators of the cosmopolitan social structure in the Balkans. Although the architectural and artistic works forming the Balkan culture are subject of many researches, they have not been studied sufficiently. In this context, in order to introduce the works on culture, architectural works, and artistic activities in the Balkans to the science community and all researchers, the main theme of the 8th International Symposium of 2022 has been determined as "Culture, Architecture, and Art in the Balkans". Thus, it is aimed to eliminate the lack of literature in this field by publishing a book including the papers presented at the symposium.THEMESArchitectural Works in the Balkans on Pre-Ottoman EmpireArchitectural Works in the Balkans on Ottoman Empire PeriodBalkan MusicBalkan Folk DancesHandicrafts in the BalkansFine Arts in the BalkansPoetry and Literature in the BalkansORGANISING INSTITUTIONSBeykent University, TurkeyBurdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, TurkeyDogus University, Turkeyİzmir Kavram Vocational SchoolTrakya University, EdirneTuzla University, Bosnia and HerzegovinaUBTAK (Balkan History Research Committee)IMPORTANT DATESDeadline for Abstract Submissions: 4 April 2022Announcement of Accepted Papers: 15 April 2022Deadline for Final Submissions: 29 July 2022Announcement of the Symposium Programme: 15 August 2022Date of the Symposium: 01-04 September 2022 Facebook'ta Paylaş Twitter'da Paylaş LinkedIn'de Paylaş E-posta Gönder Whatsapp'ta Paylaş
